Abstract
  • On Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 at 5:30 P.M., the Chimney Tops 2 fire was reported in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The fire burned in remote terrain, with vertical cliffs and narrow rocky ridges. This is where the story begins.
